Dennis Wade, Certified Public Accountant

Dennis is a native of the Nashville area. He is a graduate of Greenbrier High School. He is a lifetime resident of the Greenbrier/ Ridgetop community in Robertson County. He received his Bachelor of Science degree form Austin Peay State University in 1976 with a double major in Accounting and Business Management. He and his wife Vickie have 3 children and one grandchild on the way. Dennis is very active in the community and is currently serving his second term as a Robertson County Commissioner. As a Commissioner he serves on various committees and is the chairman of the County budget committee. He and Vickie are members of First Baptist Church of Greenbrier were he serves as deacon. Dennis passed the CPA exam in 1981 and has for the past 15 years been a sole practitioner with an office in Goodlettsville. His clients are Small Businesses and individuals. His firm provides a wide range of services from monthly bookkeeping and payroll processing to tax and financial statement preparation. Dennis is very active in assisting his clients with personal and business financial planning. Most recently Dennis and Vickie have been involved in a new venture. They opened the Home Instead Senior Care office in Goodlettsville, which services North Davidson, Sumner, Robertson and Cheatham Counties. The desire to open this new business came about due to their experiences in being the primary caregiver to Dennis’s grandmother. They saw first hand the problems family’s have in locating the necessary services. Dennis has been active in the Middle Tennessee Boy Scout Council as well as involved with several local Boy Scout troops over the years. He is a member of the Goodlettsville, Springfield, and GreenRidge Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the TN Society of CPAs, The American Institute of CPA’s, and the Senior Service Network. |
